Meet the Owners
Witneigh grew up in rural NC, embracing the quiet countryside while dreaming of high fashion and Hollywood glamour. Her passion for bridal fashion began in high school while working at a pageant and bridal dress shop, where she found deep fulfillment in helping people feel confident and beautiful. She told her mom then that one day she would own a bridal boutique—a dream that has now come full circle.
After years in corporate marketing and retail management, Witneigh’s entrepreneurial spirit was reignited through her work with Greensboro Fashion Week, where she collaborated with some of the most talented creatives. This experience renewed her passion for retail ownership and inspired her to bring her own creative vision to life at Duchess Bridal Boutique.
Witneigh doesn’t just own Duchess Bridal; she creates there, too. The Duchess Collection is designed entirely by her; Curated for brides seeking unique, fashionable, and elegant designs without the custom price tag. She believes the integrity of a dress’s construction is just as important as its aesthetic, with support and comfort meticulously built into every design. Witneigh knows that when a bride feels confident in her dress, she truly radiates.
At her core, Witneigh just loves love. She’s known for wearing her heart on her sleeve, often sharing emotional moments with brides as they find their dream dress. She feels incredibly grateful to be a part of each bride’s love story and wedding day, believing wholeheartedly that this is her calling.

Giovanni grew up in Albania during a time of rising tensions and escaped to a refugee camp at 12 before finding a new home in America. Assimilating into Greensboro was challenging, but fashion became a universal language for Giovanni—a means of self-expression and connection in a new country.
His love for tailored suits was inspired by a photograph of his grandfather, impeccably dressed in a three-piece suit against the backdrop of the Albanian landscape. This image, which now hangs in Besa Clothier, embodies the effortless style and pride that shape Giovanni’s approach to menswear.
Giovanni’s keen eye for fashion led to an early modeling career, including a walk at NYC’s Fashion Week in 2013, solidifying his passion for the industry. Co-founding Greensboro Fashion Week allowed him to bring big-city fashion to North Carolina.
With a talent for curating and tailoring his wardrobe from vintage finds, Giovanni pursued his dream of opening Besa Clothier. The boutique offers fully customizable suits crafted from exquisite Italian fabrics, reflecting his dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Giovanni’s commitment to sourcing the finest materials and providing unmatched hospitality has quickly established Besa as the Triad’s premier destination for bespoke menswear.
